I see fitness as a journey. The final goal may be to lose weight, gain strength or be more confident but you have to enjoy the process and have fun along the way. Using competition, challenges and having the right environment makes it possible for individuals to enjoy every step as they work towards their fitness goals.

Brock and I opened Crown West Fitness because we wanted to create a place where people could feel comfortable. Everyday we will work hard to make our members feel comfortable by creating a place where people are not intimidated to ask for help and guidance. We are here to provide you with the right tools so that you can work towards being the best version of yourself.

The goal of Crown West Fitness is to make people feel like they want to go to the gym, not like they have to go to the gym. We want coming to Crown West to be a highlight in your day. I can’t promise that it wont be hard, but I can promise that we will make it challenging and possible for you to achieve what you want to achieve. At Crown West, you won’t be a number that someone is earning commission on, you will be a part of a team.

My name is Kyle Gabelhei, I was born and raised in Kelowna. I graduated with a diploma in Human Kinetics and decided to pursue my passion for fitness by opening Crown West with Brock. I knew that Brocks morals aligned with my own, so we put everything on the line to make our vision come true. “Take care of your friends and clients and the rest will come,” I told myself. I was sick of big box corporate gyms. Sick of how they treated people and felt uncomfortable watching them take people’s money yet providing them no support. I want to help and teach people how life-changing exercise can be and how to get results in a safe and effective manner. We decided to open Crown West because we feel everyone should have an opportunity to get good instruction, good classes and good company- at a good price. I want to help as many people as I can and guide them towards a healthier lifestyle. I took a chance and bet on myself and I urge you to do the same.
